the iPhone is great... as a neat little toy and music player. The 3G network should be the 3G no-work. My husband switched from Sprint to AT&T to get the iPhone. After 2 weeks he's going back to Sprint. The networks just don't compare! His AT&T sales rep whispered to him that they're not ALLOWED to admit to any iPhone or 3G issues but that she's getting tons of complaints daily. When he went to the Sprint store, there was another customer switching from AT&T because she too wanted a phone that WORKED.

Too bad all of you people are actually discussing a comparison of a toy to a phone. I work for att and the IPHONE BLOWS it has the worst phone reception out of any phone ever made. If you ever need a PHONE and not a toy music player that wont make calls the tilt is the best of all the phones despite the size it has all the features that took the iphone over a year past the tilt release to even include no less still suck completely. The iphone has a horrible battery life and to even think that you people could spend 199 on what is a great IDEA and that alone makes me sick. How could you be so stupid to lock into 2 years with garbage? HA mandatory internet plan that wow WIFI takes care of that if you dont want it plus why iphone no mediaFlo? too much to handle i guess. Argue phones that could actually put up a fight against each other.

It sounds like Jason must be a Sprint salesperson. I hardly no anyone that can use Sprint and like in the same sentence.

I like my Instinct by Sprint. 129.99 w/2yr contract 99.99 everything unlimited plan, no hidden or extra fees. Oh and my 3G always works and I have a backup battery that I can replace myself.

Jack, I suggest using your HTC as a boat anchor. If you get a tilt the data plan is still the same as the iPhone at $30 per month unless you bought it at full retail - $499.99 or on e-bay, yikes be careful with that.

Does the htc have a mandatory data plan? hmmm.... i know the Iphone sure does...which means over time its probably more expensive...any of you geniuses notice the minimum data plan rise from $20 to $30 with the new 3g iphone? $10 for a 24 month contract = $240! good ol bait and switch!

Russ, I'd be more careful about suggesting that Jack was intellectually impaired ("..no brainer..") after admitting that YOU paid $399.99 for an HTC phone ! Unfortunately, this admission kinda calls YOUR relative intellect (or, at least your ability to find a deal) into question. Looks like you got suckered twice now. While you and your iPhone are looking for a recharge somewhere - my "brick" and I will see you at the checkout counter. . . .

The thing that I find the most disturbing, is the fact that people sue over this stuff. Thanks for clogging up our justice and legal system with your tripe because your new toy doesnt work as well as you expected. If thats the case, we should all sue Microsoft for making Windows Vista. ;)People are such crybabies these days. Maybe if people were smart enough to research the product before dropping a few clams on it, we wouldnt have this problem?
